Where do I come from?

I come from where the toetoe
holds its blade ready to slice its next victim.

Where the blackbirds cover the grass
looking for food to bring back to their nest.

Where the swans and ducks cover the pond
ducking down for the bugs on the seaweed.

Where the birds fly over
the houses flying with their flock.

Where the Styx River flows through the Styx
Reserve with the little fishes swimming by.

So I come from a place where
the birds fly and the river flows.

I am learning to make sure that the personification connects with the writing.

It is going well because I used personification with the toetoe holding its blade.

  1. I like your Poem because I like the line where the black birds cover the pond looking for food to bring back to the nest
